Hayley Orrantia (born in the year 1996) is an American performer, actress and song writer. Her most well-known role is Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy show "The Goldbergs". Although she's a singer however, her passion for music. It is the first thing that interests her. She has been dabbling with since she was nine years old. At the age of 12, music became serious enough for her to begin professional training. The year 2013 saw her take up songwriting and recorded her first album. And the rest is history. Orrantia has Hispanic heritage, yet was born in USA. She has Hispanic roots even though she spoke English as a child and lived her life in America. To keep her heritage alive she's learning Spanish. She also creates songs based on the Spanish language. She has recorded the Spanish version of the song, titled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia auditioned for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia won the first season of The X Factor after she submitted an YouTube performance video. The judge gave her four "yes" votes from the judge during the live stage in Seattle. Though she initially auditioned in a single performance during "Hollywood Week" the singer, along with three other female singers, were placed in an ensemble for the remainder of the auditions. They were eliminated during the fifth week in the Live program.
