Cassandra Monique Batie known professionally as Andra Day is an American R&B and soul vocalist as well as songwriter and actress. She's been awarded a Grammy Award and Children's and Family Emmy Award. Golden Globe Award and Academy Award nominations are also among her accolades. Day's following on YouTube increased quickly after she joined forces along with Gurvitz, Jeffrey Evans and Buskin. Day ultimately got a major label contract with Warner Bros. The song was immediately picked up by DJs, who started airing the track on radio. She then signed with Warner Bros. Records. Adrian Gurvitz recorded her debut album Cheers to celebrate the fall. The single "Rise Up" became a global anthem in social justice movements. Day received two Grammy nominations for her album, including Best R&B Album. The United States vs. Billie Holiday, a concept-album about the legendary jazz singer's life and career, came out in the year 2019. That same year she starred in a biopic on Holiday's life The United States vs. Billie Holiday (2021). Andi matichak (born 25th August 1970) is an American actor. Her first appearance was on television shows like 666 Park Avenue, Orange Is the New Black and Blue Bloods before making her movie debut as Allyson Nelson in the horror movie series Halloween as well as the sequels. Andi Matichak is an American actress, was born in Framingham Massachusetts on 3 May 1994.
