Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal advocate and writer who was awarded numerous Awards. Her movies include Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). New York was her home and she was raised in a creative environment. The first job she had was a photo assistant. After that, she switched to modelling and acting. The first two films she made got noticed and earned her an award called the Golden Globe Award of Most promising newcomer. MacGraw's 1970 feature film Love Story was an international hit, earning her an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. In just three years, she was named the most popular female box-office participant in the entire world. In 1972 her hand-footprints as well as her signature were inscribed at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Some of the films she's been in are The Getaway Convoy Players as in the mini-series on TV The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography of hers, was published. MacGraw was married three times.
